Defying Limits shines a light on hidden disabilities by celebrating the many ways people learn, grow, and succeed. We’re building a community where differences are recognized as strengths, individuals feel seen and supported, and success isn’t defined by a single path.
Through advocacy, education, community partnerships, and scholarships, Defying Limits empowers young people with hidden disabilities to embrace what makes them different—and redefine what success looks like on their own terms.

Embrace Your Strengths with Ginger Ragaishis
Diagnosed with a learning disability in third grade, I know firsthand how a hidden disability can shape the way you learn, grow, and see yourself. For years, I thought success meant keeping up and doing things the same way as everyone else. I’ve learned that it doesn’t.
I want students with hidden disabilities to recognize their differences as strengths and move forward with confidence. The challenges we face may not always be visible, but neither are the resilience, determination, and creativity we develop along the way.
That belief inspired me to write Student of the Month, a children’s book about acceptance, confidence, and discovering that there is more than one way to succeed. Because sometimes success isn’t about fitting the mold—it’s about redefining it.
